River
7/1/2023
Female
Sometimes, all one can do is go with the flow, but River would sure like a life with less turbulence.
As best we can put together, this pretty girl was abandoned outside after once having a home. Thanks to our friends at Pennsylvania PETS and Caring Hands Animal Hospital, River was spayed/vetted and safely placed in a caring foster home.
River was a little cautious at first with other pets, but she so wanted to engage and play. With a bit of adjustment time, she’s been fine with her foster’s dog, rabbit and 6 cats! She uses the litter box, loves to eat canned food and can make biscuits with the best of them! She also enjoys being pet.
River has beautiful, unique markings and a sweet little face. Her foster mom feels she’d be a wonderful pet for someone willing to give her just a little time to make herself at home. River also can be pretty expressive. She’ll meow up a storm if she wants a meal when it’s not quite meal time, but she’s still getting with the program in her foster home!😻
River was outside by herself for some time before coming back to the safety of indoors. We hope to find a family who will patiently assure her that this time, she will be safe and well loved.

Happy

Happy is also searching for his forever home. He’s a handsome little wobbly boy, who got very sick over the summer with immune mediated anemia. Lots of tears, bloodwork, antibiotics and steroids later, and Happy is doing great! He is looking for a pre-adopter for the time when his maintenance dose of steroids is determined. Happy uses the litterbox beautifully, and climbs up everything within reach so well that he should be limited to cat furniture that is 40” or less (he isn’t always as graceful when climbing down😅). Happy truly lives up to his name, and hasn’t let illness slow him down. Will you be the furever he deserves?

Jarvis
5/31/2023
Many people have seen wobbly cats on social media, but not many know that we have some in foster! Jarvis is a wobbly cat, having the condition Cerebellar Hypoplasia that affects his coordination and fine motor skills. This condition has a spectrum, and Jarvis is on the moderate/severe side. This means that while he gets around without aid, he does so by crawling and flopping. He is also able to use a litterbox on his own, but his aim isn’t always perfect… 😅
That being said, with a few simple modifications to his potty area, Jarvis is happy as a clam and keeping things clean is a breeze! Jarvis is looking for someone who can recognize exactly how “special” special needs cats are, and is willing to accept him the way he is. This big eared boy is looking for love and a forever home

Gemelli & Manicotti
4/21/2022
Female's
There’s been a bobcat sighting!!
Meet our marvelous Manx kittens Manicotti and Gemelli!
These sleek black girls have short tails (like bobcats!), but make up for it with their purrsonalities!
Gemelli is a friendly and outgoing girl, seeking attention and showing off her curly pasta tail. Manicotti is a little more reserved, but when you get her purr motor going, she’s all smiles, and loves to play. Her tail even looks like the pasta she’s named for!
If your tastes run towards the exotic, these little bobtail sisters could be just the ones for you!

Zuri
6 Years Old
Zuri was rescued from a neglect situation in a surrounding town in the beginning of March. Zuri was recused along with 3 adult cats and 6 newborn kittens. 3 of the kittens passed in following weeks, most likely due to malnutrition in their mothers, leading to failure to thrive symptoms in the kittens. Despite their living situation, Zuri was still very sweet but liked individual attention and would hide away in her cat tree if there were other cats near. She has not gone after any of the other adults or kittens in her foster but would love a space of her own. After her spay and getting 2 cracked/rotted canine teeth out, Zuri turned into a totally different cat! Now Zuri spends her time sunbathing and bird watching instead of hiding. While not being her true and affectionate self in a room full of other cats, she spends less time hiding away.
Zuri would shine in a single pet home or a home with another calm pet. Even at 6 years old, Zuri still plays and gets the zoomies every once in awhile! She LOVES receiving loads of attention and has the cutest chirps while being pet 💕 This beautiful, green eyed calico girl deserves a home where she will receive plenty of love and attention. She deserves so much more than what she has received over the past 6 years! Zuri is negative for FIV/FELV, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and ready for her forever home!! To meet Zuri, please send us a message on Facebook or message foster mom Hailee at hailee@catsinbloom.org

Bluey is a sweet girl with a lot of love to give. From the day she came into foster care all she wanted was someone to love her. She was found 2 years ago on someone' s property and left to have 2 litters over the past 2 years. Once she had her past litter (Muffin, Bingo and Socks) she was brought to CIB by the landowner. She is now thriving in foster care and will be available for adoption once her kittens are weaned and she is spayed. Bluey is negative for FIV/FeLV and will be vaccinated once her kittens are weaned. To meet Bluey please message us on Facebook or send foster mom Hailee an email at hailee@catsinbloom.org
